I run a small Pomeranian rescue and when I saw this, I just had to have it!

First off, I won't be using this as an actual dog tag. At being larger and thicker than a quarter, it is too big for our little dogs. Also, it has a heft to it that would most likely put a strain on the little necks after a while. This would not be an issue for larger dogs, but our are under 10lbs.

Next, why would we want to hide this coin under our Pomeranians floofy coat? It is just too nice. It is very hard to find merchandise with depictions of Poms that are nicely done and don't make them look hideous or down right scary! The relief here is very nicely done. Even the lettering is raised giving the whole piece a nice depth and texture. All of the edges are finished and smooth. I can see someone keeping this in their pocket to rub with their thumb as anxiety relief.

Included are multiple choices for customizing for your desired use. They even included a little screwdriver to help pry open the split rings. The set came with 4 split rings in different sizes, 3 jump rings, one D ring and even a bumper silencer to wrap around.

Finally, let's talk packaging. This thing came so well packaged, it borders on excessive! Once unboxed, it has in a decorative envelope with a gold seal. Once that was unfolded, it revealed a trifold, book type box complete with descriptions of the different breed types. The coin was in a fitted foam enclosure complete with a ribbon to pop it out.

This would make a great gift for the dog lover in your life. Other uses could be as a gift for a breeder, a trophy at a dog show, prize in a raffle or even a token for a judge as an appreciation gift.
